Club History
Dundee City Aquatics (DCA) was established on January 1, 2007, through the merger of two esteemed Dundee swimming clubs: City of Dundee and Dundee Arnhall. Since its inception, DCA has grown into Central Scotland’s premier competitive swimming program, serving swimmers and divers from Dundee, Angus, and North Fife.
Our club offers a progressive swimming teaching program aligned with the aims and outcomes of Scottish Swimming, the National Governing Body. Young swimmers start with our structured lessons, developing their skills and passion for the sport. They can then progress into our competitive squad system, where they enhance their abilities, build teamwork, and enjoy the social and health benefits of swimming.
DCA has celebrated numerous achievements across all levels and age groups, including:
- Winning both the Premier and 1st Divisions in competitive meets.
- Individual successes at local, national, and Olympic trial levels.
- A thriving Masters section competing successfully at national and international events.
- An active diving club with athletes competing at the Scottish National level.
We train at multiple facilities throughout Dundee, providing top-notch coaching and resources to our diverse community. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the pool, fostering personal growth and community spirit.
